ISLAMABAD – Federal government has taken important decision over the issueof terrorism cases against PTM leaders.
A case against 37 Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) activists in theAnti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has been withdrawn by authorities in Islamabad.
They were booked for arranging protests against the state institutions,including the armed forces.
Police had earlier registered an FIR against PTM workers at Kohsar policestation for chanting slogans against the state and Pakistan Army.
A special prosecutor submitted a statement on behalf of the governmentofficial, praying for the withdrawal of the case.
Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police ordered the arrest of PTM leaderManzoor Pashteen, MNA Ali Wazir and six others after they were declaredproclaimed offenders.
