GILGIT: Pakistan Army Chief sternly warns India against misadventure acrossthe border.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the formationheadquarters at Gilgit on Saturday where he addressed the formationofficers and troops.
Speaking to the soldiers, Gen Bajwa appreciated their state of readinessand morale, despite the demanding challenges of difficult weather, harshterrain, and the enemy at the highest battlefield of the world.
Addressing the troops, the Army chief said the armed forces of the countrywere ready to respond to any misadventure from India, given the situationin Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
“We are alive to threat from Eastern Border linked to ongoing situation inIOJ&K and fully prepared to thwart any misadventure or aggression,” theInter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media wing, quotedhim as saying.
