DUBAI – To mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi on 2ndOctober link, EmiratesPost link has issued acommemorative stamp to honour the life and times of Indialink most influentialleader.

Gandhi played a crucial role in the development of Indialink and notablyled the country to independencelink throughnon-violent protest link.Commonly referred to as the ‘Father of Indialink’, Gandhi is reveredby many for his efforts to unite people, regardless of racelink or religion.

“As we approach the anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday, Emirates Postlink is issuing a stamp asa celebration of the values Gandhi embodied and upheld during hislifetime,” said Acting Group CEO of Emirates Postlink Group Abdulla Alashram.
