ISLAMABAD – The Met Office has predicted rain in different cities of thecountry on the election day on Wednesday.
Rain-thundershowers with gusty winds is expected at scattered places inMalakand, Hazara, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore,Sargodha divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir.
The Met Office informed that the monsoon currents are continuouslypenetrating upper and central parts of the country and likely to continuein coming days.
Moreover, moderate rain-thundershowers are also expected at isolated placesin KP ( Bannu, DI Khan divisions), Punjab ( Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, DGKhan and Bahawalpur divisions), Balochistan (Zhob and Kalat divisions) andGilgit-Baltistan till Sunday.
Isolated heavy falls are also expected in Hazara, Malakand, Mardan,Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Lahore divisions, Islamabad andKashmir during Thursday –Saturday.
