BRUSSELS: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistan believes inthe policy of peace, restraint and peaceful coexistence.
He said this while addressing Political and Security Committee of theEuropean Union in Brussels on Tuesday.
The Foreign Minister said the offer of engagement and initiatives for peacewith India, our readiness to discuss all matters, including terrorism andKashmir, and operationalization of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Action Plan forPeace and Solidarity, are manifestations of our foreign policy vision putinto practice.
The Foreign Minister said the Jammu and Kashmir dispute remains the singlebiggest obstacle towards building durable peace and stability in South Asia.
The Foreign Minister said a new paradigm for universal peace and prosperityis both desirable and achievable.

He said Pakistan will be a willing and able partner of the internationalcommunity in this worthwhile pursuit.
About terrorism, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan is perhaps the onlycountry in the world that has successfully turned the tide in the fightagainst terrorism.
He said Pakistan has been pursuing a comprehensive approach to tackleterrorism.
