ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nasir-ul-Mulk has reiterated to provide everypossible support to the Election Commission in ensuring the conduct offree, fair and peaceful elections.
He was chairing a briefing on the preparations and arrangements being madefor smooth conduct of General Elections 2018.
Secretary Election Commission Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad made a detailedpresentation on the arrangements being made for conducting GeneralElections 2018.
He also elaborated on the details of the Code of Conduct that has beenworked out for contesting candidates, presiding officers and the pollingstaff, the law enforcement agencies deployed for election duties, media andelection observers, both local and foreign, who would be monitoring theelections country-wide.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the preparations made by theElection Commission of Pakistan.
