*ISLAMABAD – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has filed a petition askingthe court to let him travel abroad for medical treatment.*
In the instant review petition filed on Thursday, he pleaded to the courtto modify its earlier order and allow him to travel abroad. His lawyershave also asked the court about the process to extend his bail.
The Supreme Court granted Nawaz six months’ bail on medical grounds onMarch 26. However, the lawyers contended that in the verbal order, thejudges said the high court had to be approached for an extension in bail.
