ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he is ready to quitthe designation, but he will not bargain.
Talking to Senior Anchorperson Moeed Pirzada on Friday, he said that theno-confidence motion card could not be confirmed till last time. “Nobodyknows how many members are with you. At least six months are needed to holdthe elections,” he added.
The prime minister said that they are not afraid of the election and theyare ready to face any situation.
He said that he had not yet considered the service period of Chief of ArmyStaff General Qamar Bajwa.
“The decision about the appointment of the new army chief is made in Julyand August. Talks about the appointment of the new army chief are justrumours. I tried to stop General Faiz Hameed due to the Afghanistansituation. Talks with the government allies are underway,” he maintained.
