ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhryon Thursday said that for the politics in the country to be set right, itis vital that the people (dissident PTI MNAs) who sold their votes aredealt with in an “exemplary manner”.
Addressing a press conference along with the Federal Minister for EnergyHammad Azhar and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on PoliticalCommunication Shahbaz Gill outside the Supreme Court, Fawad threw shade onthe MNAs who allegedly sold their votes against PM Imran Khan ahead of theno-confidence motion.
Fawad reprimanded the dissident MNAs’ behaviour by saying that it is”disdainful” that someone would stab and betray the same leader whose namegot them votes in the first place.

The minister added that the decision about whether to count the votes ofthe dissident MNAs or not is solely that of the speaker of the NationalAssembly.
