Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Friday presented aconstitutional amendment bill to Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser forestablishment of South Punjab Province.
Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri was also present on the occasion.
On the request of the Foreign Minister, the Speaker directed to make thebill part of the agenda of the house on Monday.
In his remarks, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the establishment of South Punjabprovince is part of election manifesto of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Later talking to the media persons, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshiasked the opposition parties including the PPP and PML (N) to support theconstitutional amendment bill, envisaging establishment of South Punjabprovince.
