PAF fighter jet faces accident while landing, damages reported

*RAWALPINDI – A Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) aircraft on Monday skidded offrunway during landing, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).*

According to the military’s media wing, pilots of the aircraft remainedunhurt while the plane endured minor damage in the incident.

An inquiry board have been formed at the Air Headquarters to probe into theincident.

Earlier, a Pakistan International Airline (PIA) aircraft veered off therunway at Panjgur Airport, Balochistan on November 10.

As many as 57 passengers were aboard the flight PK-517 that was heading toPanjgur from Karachi, however, all the passengers remained safe, PIAspokesperson later said in a statement.

The incident occurred when the plane was touching down the runway and itgot veered off the landing belt. According to reports, tyres of theaircraft were partially damaged in the incident.
