LAHORE – Pakistani authorities have appointed two administrators tosupervise a seminary and a mosque of the Jaish-e-Mohammad, which as perIndian media claimed responsibility for the Pulwama suicide attack thatkilled 40 CRPF personnel in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Punjab government appointed the administrators two days after itannounced taking over the control of Madrassatul Sabir and Jamia-e-MasjidSubhanallah in Bahawalpur, over 400-km from Lahore.
“The Punjab government has appointed Mohammad Ali, district Auqafadministrator and Ghulam Abbas, regional Auqaf administrator to supervisethe administrative affairs of Jamia-e-Masjid Subhanallah and MadrassatulSabir, Bahawalpur, respectively,” said a senior official of the Punjabgovernment.
Jamia-e-Masjid Subhanallah is located in the densly populated industrialarea in Model Town-B of Bahawalpur while Madrassatul Sabir is situated onBahawalpur-Ahmed East highway on the outskirts of the city.
