TIRINKOT – At least two policemen have been killed and three other woundedas result of the Taliban attack in central Uruzgan province, an officialsaid on Sunday.

Police spokesman Amanullah Khushdal told Pajhwok Afghan News the incidenttook place in Talani locality of the Tirinkot, the provincial capital lateon Saturday night.

He said two policemen were been killed and three other wounded when theTaliban stormed police check-post from a private vehicle. The assailantsmanaged to flee the area after their attack.

Meanwhile, Qari Yousuf Ahmadi, the Taliban group spokesman, confirmed theincident and claimed killing four police personnel and as many wounded.
