KARACHI: Three terrorists were arrested by Rangers over their alleged association with Indian Intelligence Agency RAW. The terrorists were arrested by Rangers Garden area of Karachi.
As per details, all the three accused were presented before special court of anti-terrorism here on Wednesday. Rangers have taken 90 days physical remand of all three accused.
Rangers told the court that the accused were arrested near Garden Usmanabad area of Karachi. The accused were involved in heinous crimes including attacks on Sindh Secretariat, Police Headquarters with rocket launchers, target killing and extortion. (Rangers took plea in court)
After the court proceedings, Sindh Rangers Col. Shahid addressed the media and said that the accused Fahim, Riaz and Nasir were recruited by RAW. All the three accused were also involved in target killing and China cutting.
Col. Shahid revealed that the accused Riaz has confessed several acts of target killing. All the three accused have been trained by RAW to operate weapons in Indian Province Haryana.
Col. Shahid added that the accused also confessed of ball bomb blast in different areas of city while they were also involved in murders and ransom.
