Earlier, an application was filed in the Lahore High Court for banning allsocial media applications including Bigo, TikTok and Likee.
Waqas Anwar Gujjar Advocate filed a petition in the High Court in which theowners of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Federal InvestigationAgency (FIA), Bigo, TikTok and Likee have been made parties.
The petition contends that youngsters are wasting their time through Bigo,TikTok, Likee and other social media applications, while all social mediaapplications, promote nudity, obscenity and immorality.
