MUMBAI – Prominent Indian TV Actress found hanging from the ceiling of herflat in an apparent case of suicide.
Indian TV actor Sejal Sharma has allegedly taken her life at her residencein Maharashtra, Indian media reported early on Saturday morning.
According to India Times, Sejal Sharma was found hanging from the ceilingof her flat by a friend in the early hours of Friday, an official said. Shewas found dead at around 4am On January 24.
Two of her friends were present at her residence at the time of theincident. “Sharma was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was declareddead on arrival”, he added.
The police recovered a suicide note, in which Sejal stated that she wastaking the extreme step due to personal reasons.
“Yes, this is true. I am shocked to hear the news. It’s very difficult forme to believe as I had met her just 10 days ago and we had even chatted onWhatsApp on Sunday.

I am unable to come to terms with the news. I met her 10 days back and shewas absolutely fine,” said Aru Verma, Sejal’s co-star.
The actor was best known for her character of Simmi Khosla in Indian TVdrama “Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji.”
A native of Udaipur in Rajasthan, Sharma had come to Mumbai a few years agoto pursue a career in acting, and was working in the Indian TV serial.
She appeared in a few commercials. She had also featured in a web seriestitled “Azad Parindey”.
