Pakistan gets state of the Art Electronic Warfare and Surveillance Radar laboratories

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan gets state of the Art Electronic Warfare andSurveillance Radar laboratories.

Army chief General Qamar Bajwa on Friday inaugurated state-of-the-artElectronic Warfare (EW) and Ground Surveillance Radar (GSR) testinglaboratories in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the military said.

The ceremony was held during his visit to the National RadioTelecommunication Corporation (NRTC), an Information CommunicationTechnology (ICT) & electronic equipment manufacturer and solution providersto public and private sectors, in Haripur.

General Bajwa lauded the role and unrelenting efforts made by NRTC duringthe last three years, and assured his full support in its “innovativeinitiatives”.

Separately, Japan’s Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, KanasugiKenji called on General Qamar Bajwa at the General Headquarters inRawalpindi.

“During the meeting matters of mutual interest, overall regional situationand bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed,” according tothe military’s media wing.

The Japanese minister appreciated Pakistan’s contributions for conflictprevention in the region, and pledged to keep working for better relationsbetween the two.
