ISLAMABAD - Pakistan has not made any monetary commitments with Srilanka cricket team for visiting Pakistan, it has been revealed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) CEO Wasim Khan.

Khan clarified that the board has not made any monetary commitments to the Sri Lankan cricket team in order to convince them to tour Pakistan, *Daily Jang* reported link.

Sri Lankan Cricket (SLC) had at first showed reservations on sending its team to a country where its players had come under attack in 2009. However, they later had a change of hearts, which gave rise to suspicions that the PCB may have opened their cheque book, which is what they had done in the past to make reluctant players board the Pakistan-bound flight for the Pakistan Super League.

However, the PCB chief executive has denied doing the same this time around.

“We are not paying Sri Lanka even a penny,” he is quoted as saying by *Jang.* “They are coming to Pakistan without being paid anything.”
