Saudi Ambassador reveals Raheel Sharif role in Islamic Military Alliance

ISLAMABAD - Saudi Arabia will soon join the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Project (CPEC) to build on the brotherly ties with Islamabad, the country's envoy has said here.
Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Ahmed Al-Malkiy said his country will invest in Gwadar Port for the 'prosperity of Pakistanis'.
He also said that Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman had agreed to boost trade ties during their recent talks.
Al-Malkiy said both the nations share brotherly relations and their latest endeavour in CPEC would further strengthen their bonds.
He further said that former Pakistan army chief General (Retd) Raheel Sharif's appointment as head of the 39-nation Islamic military coalition is aimed at enhancing its capabilities to fight terror and not directed at anyone.
