Chennai: National cricket team captain Babar Azam said that the team felt disappointed after the loss to Afghanistan, but in cricket, anything can happen.

Speaking at a press conference after the defeat to Afghanistan in Chennai, Babar Azam mentioned that our bowling and fielding weren't up to the mark, and spinners didn't perform well in the middle overs.

He congratulated Afghanistan on their victory, saying that Pakistan couldn't perform well in fielding, and they will strive to win all the upcoming matches.

The captain of the national cricket team stated that he doesn't feel the burden of captaincy; when he is batting, he focuses on his batting, and when it's his turn to captain, he takes on that role.

Babar Azam further stated that our performance in this World Cup hasn't been good, and our performance in all three departments of the game has been poor. He credited the Afghan team for their excellent play.
