Syed Ali Gilani, while referring to recent Kashmir history, said, "Late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah though for 22 years pursued Plebiscite Front but later in year 1975 while ignoring the miseries and agonies faced by people, opted to choose his fortune for power corridors within framework of Indira-Abdullah Accord.
This was followed by his son and grandson and thus bargained the interests of the territory for their personal gains."
The ailing octogenarian APHC Chairman said, despite their bargaining with Delhi, the people in Kashmir never accepted hegemony of India and resisted it with their will and wish.
