The trade and business community has termed the Finance Supplementary Budget as business-friendly saying that it will provide relief to them.
In an interview, President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Daroo Khan Achakzai said it is the first step of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government toward the stable economy.
Former President of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Zubair Tufail termed the supplementary budget as business friendly and said the package is need of the hour to provide relief to businessmen and traders.
Former Vice President of the Chamber, Wasim Wahra said it will promote small and medium industry and reduce unemployment.
President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry said despite economic crunch and a number of domestic and international challenges, the government announced business and people-friendly bill.
He said waiver of withholding tax on bank transactions for tax filers is a welcoming step of the government and it will give relief to small traders.
The business community also hailed other steps announced by the Finance Minister Asad Umer especially the introduction of interest-free revolving credit of five billion rupees and exemption of duties on investment in solar panels and wind turbines.
