NEW DELHI – Former Indian Home Minister P Chidambaram has said that Jammuand Kashmir needs a solution in line with the demand of the majority of itspeople.
Talking to media, P Chidambaram, very close to Congress leaders, SoniaGandhi and Rahul Gandhi, while referring to the historical background ofJammu and Kashmir, said that political solution is best way to resolve theissue.
He further said that once the broad contours of a political solution arearrived at, it should be made public at an appropriate time.
