LAHORE – Pakistan International Airlines on Monday has launched yet anothernew international route from Lahore.
PIA has launched new flights to Bangkok, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia.
There will be twice-weekly flights from Lahore to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur,a spokesperson from the airline said, adding that Boeing 777 will be usedfor these routes.
The first flight for Kuala Lumpur, PK 896, took off at 4:45am today fromLahore after a gap of two years, said a press release issued by thenational flag carrier.
The Lahore-Kuala Lumpur flight will stop over in Bangkok. Another flightwill run from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok.
On Dec 16, the PIA had announced the new direct route from the Punjabcapital to two top southeastern Asian destinations.link

According to an agreement, the Malaysian Airline will take PIA customers tothe Thai capital in cases of the low number of passengers.
If there will be the sufficient number of passengers, a PIA official saidthe national flag carrier will keep its journey further to Bangkok.
