Peshawar: Two policemen have embraced martyrdom in a search operation inPeshawar today (Wednesday).
According to details, the security forces have launched a raid inPeshawar’s Hayatabad area on a tip off to arrest the fugitives. During theoperation, the suspects opened fire on Police contingent. As a result,Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Riaz Khan and Constable Jaffer martyred.
The funeral prayers of the martyred ASI and constable have been offered atPolice Lines. Funeral prayers were attended by senior officers includingInspector General of Police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Moazzam Jah Ansari.
