Prime Minister Imran Khan says he has asked Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to set up tents for people sleeping on footpaths and provide them food until Panah Gahs (shelters) are built.
In a tweet today, he said increasingly cold weather has necessitated the move.
Earlier this month, Prime Minister Imran Khan had performed ground breaking in Lahore for the establishment of Panah Gah (Shelter Home) for the down-and-out segments of society who spend nights on the streets under the open sky.

In his tweet, the Prime Minister also stated that spots are also being located in Peshawar and Karachi for Panah Gah project.
