ISLAMABAD – Renowned anchor Dr Shahid Masood on Saturday was producedbefore a local court in Islamabad in Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV)embezzlement case.
According to details, the court has approved five-day physical remand ofthe accused and handed him over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
On Friday, Dr Shahid Masood was arrested from the premises of the IslamabadHigh Court (IHC) after his pre-arrest bail petition was dismissed. He wasaccused of being involved in the corruption of Rs37 million during histenure as PTV managing director.
