KANDAHAR – Afghan Ministry of Defense (MoD) has said on Saturday that atleast two people were killed and two others were injured after a helicoptermade an emergency landing in Kandahar.
MoD spokesman, Jawed Ghafoor has confirmed that the two people were killedand two others were injured when an Afghan Air Force helicopter made anemergency landing in Maruf district of Kandahar province.
Earlier, Kandahar police chief Tadin Khan said the helicopter made anemergency landing in the district, adding that “the helicopter wastransferring troops from the (provincial) center to the district.” He saidthere had been no casualties but the helicopter caught fire.
