The prices of iPhone 15 have been significantly reduced by e-commerceplatforms in China.According to reports, various Chinese e-commerceplatforms, including Alibaba, are offering substantial discounts on the newiPhone 15 launched by Apple.
Analysts say that the iPhone 15 is not selling as well in China as itsprevious models. Counterpoint Research had stated last week that the salesof iPhone 15 in China were 4.5% lower in the first 17 days of launchcompared to iPhone 14.
Apple occasionally allows its partner vendors in China to offer discountsto boost demand.
JD.com is selling the 512GB iPhone for 7,498 yuan, which is 1,501 yuan lessthan its official price of 8,999 yuan.
Pinduoduo is offering the 128GB version of iPhone 15 Plus for 6,998 yuan,which is 900 yuan less than Apple’s original price of 6,999 yuan.
The 512GB iPhone 15 Pro Max, priced at 11,999 yuan in Apple’s store, can bepurchased for 10,698 yuan on Alibaba’s e-commerce platform Taobao.
