Pakistani pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai achieved a milestone

DUBAI: The Pakistan Pavilion established at the Expo 2020 Dubai achieved amilestone after it attracted 120,000 visitors within the first 18 days ofthe exhibition, a statement said.

Pakistan became one of the most visited pavilions since the greatest showExpo 2020 Dubai opened its doors on October 1, 2021.

The colorful exterior of the Pakistan Pavilion attracted more than 8,000visitors on the first day, and the visitor’s number jumped to 55,000 in thefirst week of October.

The response on the weekends has been exceptional. The pavilion has reached120,000 visitors just after three days of reaching its first milestone.

Rizwan Tariq, director general of the Pakistan Pavilion, said: “Theresponse has been phenomenal since the opening of the Expo 2020 and we areextremely happy to announce that the pavilion received more than 100,000visitors during the first 18 days of October.”

“The pavilion has attracted the attention of visitors through its spacesand activities that reveal ‘The Hidden Treasure’ of Pakistan.”

Afroz Abro, lead programming and marketing, said: “The pavilion has linedup many cultural, informative, and business events throughout October toshowcase the immense potential and opportunities both in tourism and othereconomic sectors,” adding that the pavilion would also host a variety ofentertainment and business events throughout the six months of Expo 2020.

Rich in history and culture, the Pakistani Pavilion is divided into eightkey spaces where visitors can experience the country’s best-kept hiddentreasures ranging from its vibrant handicrafts to its Ten Billion Treeproject and flavorsome food.
