ISLAMABAD – Pakistan on Wednesday has said that the flagshipChina-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project is an exceptional exampleof South-South cooperation.
Addressing United Nations General Assembly’s second committee on economicand financial matters, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UnitedNations Maleeha Lodhi emphasized that collaboration among developingcountries is vital to bolster their productive capacities.
“CPEC’s scale and scope is enormous, and it is expected to bring hugeeconomic and developmental benefits not just to China and Pakistan, butalso to our region and beyond,” she added.
