ISLAMABAD: (APP) Pakistan Disabled cricket team beat defending champion England Disabled team by three wickets to lift the ICC Academy PD Twenty20 Tournament at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday.
England won the toss and decided to bat first. England set a target of 137 for 5 in 20 overs, said a press release issued here.

Jamie Goodwin was the top scorer with 40 runs in 31 balls with 4 fours and 1 six, Gordan Laidlaw scored 34 runs in 40 balls, Jordan Williams contributed 17 runs not out while Callum Flyynmade 14 and Hugo Hammad 13 runs not out also batted well.
For Pakistan, left arm spinner Nihaar Alam took two wickets while Jahanzaib Taiwana and Abdullah Ejaz bagged one wicket each.
In reply Pakistan achieved their target in 19.2 overs (138 for 7). Hasnain Alam scored 39 runs in 32 balls with the help of 3 fours and 1 six, Jahanzeb Tiwana 29, Adil Abbasisocre 13 runs.
For England, Dan Reynaldo took two wickets for 24. Pakistan’s Hasnain Alam was declared man of the match and also received man of the tournament award.
President PDCA Saleem Karim, Secretary Amiruddin Ansari were also present on the occasion.
