India has been disturbed by the statement of Saudi Foreign Minister PrinceFaisal bin Farhan on occupied Kashmir.
According to a foreign news agency, the Jammu and Kashmir Contact Groupunder the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held a special meetingin New York on the occasion of the 78th session of the United NationsGeneral Assembly in which other foreign ministers including Pakistanparticipated. Speaking at the meeting on this occasion, Saudi ForeignMinister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said that Saudi Arabia stands with Muslimnations striving to protect their Islamic identity and dignity. The help ofthe nations is limited, the affected nations include the residents of Jammuand Kashmir.
The Saudi Foreign Minister said that the issue of Jammu and Kashmir is oneof the most important challenges facing the peace and stability of theregion. If the Kashmir problem is not resolved, its effect will lead to anincrease in instability in the region. India is worried by this statementof Prince Faisal bin Farhan, it is being considered controversial by India.Turkish President Rajab Tayyip Erdogan has also emphasized on the solutionof the Kashmir issue in his address to the 78th session of the GeneralAssembly.
