Earthquake in Pakistan: Number of casualties rise

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Five people were killed while 70 others wounded whenan earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter Scale on Tuesday.

The epicenter of the earthquake is said to be five kilometers away north ofJhelum at a depth of 10km.

After the earthquake, flights were stopped in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi.

Roads have been damaged and crevices were created in canals in Mirpur.Emergency has been declared in all hospitals in Mirpur. The wall of a housecollapsed in Jhelum. Several buses and vehicles turned turtle due to theearthquake.
