*KARACHI – China has offered to make huge investment in the Sindh Provinceunder the China Pakistan Economic Corridor Project.*
*Chinese industrialists from Chongqing Federation of Industry and Commercewill invest $400 million in several trade and industrial projects in Sindh.*
This was announced by a representative of the federation, Zhang Yang, at apress conference in Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) onSunday. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the federation andoffice-bearers of the HCCI in China.

Yang said that the investment would be made in steel, textile and clothing,real estate, agriculture, tourism, education and training, municipal andsolid waste disposal sectors. The Chinese official further said that theagreement was part of the China- Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
