ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has strongly condemned the highly provocative andsacrilegious remarks made against Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Rasool AllahKhatam-un-Nabiyeen Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Ala Alayhee Wa Ashabehi Wassalam byanother official of BJP in India.
In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar said that this isthe second time in the last three months that a senior BJP leader has madedisrespectful comments against our beloved Prophet Muhammad Rasool AllahKhatam-un-Nabiyeen Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Ala Alayhee Wa Ashabehi Wassalam.
“These highly derogatory remarks have gravely hurt the feelings of thepeople of Pakistan and billions of Muslims around the world. The token andperfunctory disciplinary action taken by the BJP against the said officialcannot assuage the pain and anguish caused to the Muslims of India andaround the world. It is highly reprehensible that the BJP official wasreleased on bail within hours of arrest and was welcomed by BJP zealots.”
The spokesperson said that the current incident once again highlights thepresent Indian regime’s obsessively spiteful demeanour towards the Muslimsand the worrying trajectory of Islamophobia in India. “The fact is thatIndia is nothing more than an undeclared ‘Hindu Rashtra’ where Muslims areroutinely denigrated, dispossessed and marginalized and their religiousbeliefs are trampled under majoritarian hegemonism.

“The deafening silence of the top BJP leadership on the abhorrent incidentmanifestly reflects their approval and full support to the radical Hinduzealots within and beyond the BJP,” he added.
