ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Television’s (PTV) official Twitter account postedpictures of Prime Minister Imran Khan having morning walk with Informationminister Fawad Chaudhary and senator Faisal Javed.

But, here is a catch in the pictures shared by the state-run televisionneed to be noticed. The images were taken around nine months ago when Khanwas enjoying the morning walk with his close aides at a farmhouse owned byJehangir Tareen Khan.

A video of the morning workout was also posted online in November 2017.

After the active social media users spotted the mistake and grilled thegovernment-controlled television, PTV took down the Twitter post as it isnow unavailable.

Earlier, the pictures of Prime Minister of Pakistan made headlines when hestarted his duty a day after taking the oath for the post as he reached PMoffice after morning exercise.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) government on Tuesday announced to makethe state-owned Pakistan Television (PTV) fully independent in order toensure impartiality.

Information Minister Fawad Hussain made the historic announcement, endingthe decades-old political censorship on the state governed television.

Hussain said that the reforms are being introduced under the vision of thenewly-elected Prime Minister Imran Khan, adding that clearinstructions have been issued for a complete editorial independence on PTVand Radio Pakistan.
