ISLAMABAD: (APP) Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Dr Amir Liaqat Hussain Tuesday announced quitting the party, saying that he had no more association with it.

Talking to a private news channel, he said he was fed up with the politics so he had left the MQM. There was not any kind of pressure on him to quit the party, he added.

He apologized to the nation and also advised Altaf Hussain that he should leave politics now because he had no control over his senses.
