Trump Delivers Major Jolt to India: Executive Orders Leave Modi Government Stunned

Washington, July 24, 2025 — U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a sharp warning to major tech giants like Google and Microsoft, urging them to stop hiring foreign workers—particularly from India—and instead focus on creating jobs for Americans.

Speaking at an AI Summit in Washington, Trump criticized the outsourcing and overseas investments made by American tech companies. He stressed that the era of building factories in China and relying on Indian tech labor is over.

“Big Tech used American freedom to make billions, but invested heavily outside the U.S. That ends now. This is the Trump era — the old ways are done,” he said.

Trump accused these companies of adopting a “globalist mindset” that, in his view, has left many Americans behind.

“We need American tech companies to put America first. Prioritize U.S. jobs, U.S. innovation, and U.S. leadership,” he added.

The President also announced three new executive orders on artificial intelligence. One of them lays out a national strategy to boost AI innovation by cutting red tape and accelerating infrastructure development. Dubbed “Winning the Race,” the plan aims to make the U.S. the global AI leader by fast-tracking data center construction and easing regulations for tech companies.
