*ISLAMABAD – The counter-terrorism department arrested three suspectedterrorists planning to target political figures in Bahawalpur.*

The three men, identified as Aziz Khan, Sher Afzal and Ayub Khan, werearrested during a raid.

Hand grenades, detonators, weapons and explosive material were recovered inthe operation.

A case has been filed against the suspects and an investigation has beenlaunched.
