ISLAMABAD – The militaries of Pakistan and the United Kingdom held onMonday delegation level strategic dialogue to discuss geo-strategicenvironment and bilateral military cooperation.
According to the ISPR, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa, who is inBritain on an official visit, visited the Ministry of Defence, where he wasreceived by UK’s Chief of Defence Staff General Sir Nick Carter.
On Sunday, the army chief along with DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor wasin attendance at the Lord’s stadiumto support Pakistan cricket team in their World Cup match against SouthAfrica.
The COAS, who reached London on June 20, last visited the UK in October2018.
“Gen Qamar will discuss matters of mutual interest including evolvinggeo-strategic environment, defence and security,” the ISPR had said lastweek.
