LAHORE – Pakistanis offered support and solidarity to India as the countrygrappled with oxygen shortage and its health system nearly buckled under anew wave of Covid-19.

Twitter has been all flooded with solidarity messages as public officeholders, athletes, showbiz personalities, and activists along with thegeneral public show their support to the people of India.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi wrote We express our support to thepeople of India in the wake of the current wave of Covid-19 infections thathas hit our region hard. On behalf of the people of Pakistan, I extend ourheartfelt sympathies to the affected families in India.
Newly appointed Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry also shared a post withthe Indian people. “In these difficult times, our prayers are with thepeople of India. May God be kind and may these difficult times get oversoon, he captioned the post.
