Pakistan cricket players advised and warned in England

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan cricket team has landed in England ahead of theirlimited overs series against England and the World Cup 2019.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has instructed the players to stay clear ofcontroversies while also limiting the use of social media during theprolonged tour.

The governing body has advised the players to seek permission from theSecurity Officer Major (retd.) Azhar and Team Manager, Talat Ali whilegoing out. Not just this, PCB has barred players from going out alone.

The PCB, as well as Prime Minister Imran Khan, have advised the players tostay disciplined and stay focused on cricket only while avoiding beingembroiled in controversy.

The English media has a knack of sparking controversy during Pakistan’stours to English shores. There have been quite a few incidents of unwantedcontroversies in England and PCB doesn’t want any this season as Pakistanbegin their World Cup campaign against the West Indies on 31st May.

Following the incident regarding Umar Akmal in the UAE, PCB Chairman, EhsanMani has strictly advised the team management to make no compromises ondiscipline.
