LAHORE: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said on Wednesday that hewas in no mood to resign as he had broader goals to achieve and many milesto go to fulfil the promises made by Prime Minister Imran Khan with thepeople of Pakistan.
Addressing a press conference at the Governor House, Sarwar brushed asiderumours, making rounds in the media, of his resignation as Governor Punjab,adding it was mere drawing room gossip.
The Governor dispelled the impression about any differences with PrimeMinister Imran Khan, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar or Speaker PunjabAssembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, claiming he even remained in constantcontact with Pervaiz Elahi during recent foreign visits.
