DUBAI- A man was airlifted by the National Search and Rescue Centre (NSRC)from Swaihan desert on Monday.
The 35-year-old Pakistani national had suffered severe injuries after amotorcycle accident in Al Ain, Khaleej Times has reported.
The operations room at the NSRC had received a tipoff at 4pm that a man wasstuck in Swaihan desert near Al Ajban area.
He had fallen in an area filled with dunes that was difficult to access byland-ambulatory vehicles.
A search and rescue plane was dispatched for the emergency medicalevacuation.
He was airlifted to Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi for immediate medicalassistance.
