Don’t malign Army for politics, PM Khan tells opposition

Prime Minister Imran Khan link hasdeclared that he will fight till the end, ruling out tendering resignationlink in the wake of the prevailingtense political situation in the country.

Talking to newsmen at a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday, the primeminister asked “Should I give up even before the fight? I will not resignin any case. Should I quit under pressure from these thieves?”

Imran Khan link maintained “We willwin the no-confidence match. One will be mistaken if he thinks I will goand sit at home.”

Replying to a question about Ch Nisar Ali, the prime minister said “I hadmet with Ch Nisar as I have a 40-year-old friendship with him.”

To another query about the military, Imran Khanlink said “The Armylink is being wrongly flayed. A strong Armylink is the need of the country. Had therenot been the Army link, the country wouldhave divided into three parts.”

The prime minister appealed everyone not to malign the Armylink for politics.

“Fazlur Rehman is the 12th player of the politics and time has come to ousthim from the team,” Imran Khanlinkwhile tacking another question.

He said his “neutral” remarks were blown out of the context. “I utteredthose words in the context of encouraging others to do good deeds and stopbad ones,” he added.

To another query, Imran Khan link replied“The politics of PPP and PML-N is all about corruption and how to hide it.I will not resign under pressure from these thieves. This mafia does notwant progress in the country.”
