China has appreciated Pakistan’s role in regional stability and pledged tofurther enhance diplomatic cooperation with Pakistan at all levels.
The appreciation was extended by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during ameeting with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi.
The Chinese Foreign Minister said Pakistan-China relationship is based onconvergence of views and mutual respect. He appreciated security beingprovided to CPEC and said China believes in inclusive prosperity. Hespecially appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for hosting the OIC’s 48th Councilof Foreign Ministers conference.
Referring to OIC’s 48th Council of Foreign Ministers session, General Bajwatermed it a historic development for addressing the dire humanitariansituation in Afghanistan and bringing international community to a sharedvision and joint strategy to find solution to emerging challenges in theregion vital for peace and stability.
