LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Saturday initiated audit of theincome of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leader and Jehangir Tareen’s sonAli Tareen.

According to details, FBR has summoned details of all assets of Ali Tareenfrom 2012.

Sources privy to development stated that FBR had initiated probe as PTIleader was framed in Panama Papers case.

It is pertinent here to mention that Ali had contested NA-154 by-electionsas the seat fell vacant after country’s top court ousted his fatherJehangir Tareen. Against all odds, PMLN’s Iqbal Shah defeated the PTI’scandidate.
