KARACHI –Islamabad United faces a big setback ahead of PSL final as SkipperMisbah ul Huq is likely to miss the final due severe injury.

Islamabad United bowling coach Waqar Younis and left-hand batsman JP Duminystated that his team was fully prepared to face Peshawar Zalmi in the finalof Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018.

Duminy stated that his team had left no stone unturned in this regard. On aquestion about participation of Misbah, Younis responded that the skipperwas injured thus far and decision in this regard would be taken aftercomplete medical examination.

“We are examining the pitch of National Stadium for final. Thus far, wicketlooks good for batting and we are anticipating a high-scoring match”.Younis told reporters.

On a question about Kamran Akmal’s return in national side, Younis statedthat he fancied Kamran wouldn’t be elected in the team whereas he expressedsuspicions on fielding skills on Kamran Akmal.
