Islamabad United s Musa makes a unique World Record in T20 cricket

ISLAMABAD – Islamabad United defeated Lahore Qalandars by one wicket in asensational thriller.

With 20 runs remaining in the last three overs and one wicket in hand, Musatook United over the line hitting two fours and a six.

Musa’s 17-run unbeaten knock is the highest individual score by a number 11batsman in a successful T20 run chase. The 20 runs partnership betweenAhmed Abdullah and Musa Khan was also the highest 10th wicket stand in asuccessful chase in T20s.

For his all-round performance, Shadab, the Islamabad United captain, wasnamed man of the match.

The HBL PSL 2020 action resumes on Wednesday when Multan Sultan takes onPeshawar Zalmi in Multan.
